The photo above is Cameron highland scenery — illustrative, not the lavender garden itself. We’ll add a licensed on-site photo when we have one.
A themed flower-and-photo garden at Tringkap, north of Kea Farm. Be clear what it is before you go: despite the name there are only small plots of actual lavender (and some of the “lavender” isn’t true lavender at all) — most of the colour comes from other flowers and from photo props like a fairy-tale castle, arches and swings. As a colourful spot for pictures with the family it’s a fun hour; as a Provence- or Hokkaido-style lavender field it will disappoint, and reviewers are split on whether the RM 20 entry is fair value.

What it costs

What to expect
- Small terraced plots of real lavender on the upper levels (limited in scale)
- Mixed flower beds — gerbera, hydrangea, daisies, petunias and roses — providing most of the colour
- Themed photo spots: a fairy-tale castle, decorative arches, swings and wall murals
- A raised strawberry-picking section (may be closed at times)
- A café (lavender ice cream) and a gift shop of lavender-branded products
Our independent tip
Set your expectations before you go: come for the photo backdrops and themed props, not for fields of lavender — much of the purple is other flowers. Go on a weekday morning, bring cash, and note the upper sections are stepped, so it’s awkward for large strollers or wheelchairs. Don’t make the strawberry picking your only reason to visit, as it can be closed.
Frequently asked questions
Is the lavender at Cameron Lavender Garden real lavender?
Only partly. There are real lavender plants but in small plots, plus some “lavender” that isn’t a true lavender at all. Most of the colour you’ll see comes from other flowers and decorative props, so it’s far smaller and less authentic than a Provence- or Hokkaido-style lavender field.
How much is the entry fee and what are the opening hours?
Entry is RM 20 per adult and RM 10 per child, cash only. It’s open daily from 9am to 6pm, including public holidays. Prices have held steady in recent years but aren’t on an official 2026 page, so confirm on arrival.
Is Cameron Lavender Garden worth visiting?
It depends what you want. If you enjoy themed photo spots, flower beds, strawberry picking and lavender ice cream, families and casual visitors generally have fun. If you’re hoping for a real lavender field you’ll likely be disappointed, and many reviewers feel RM 20 is steep for the limited real lavender.
